Jeff Rose, farmer and owner of Spirit Bliss Farm, will provide a farm tour and educational session on how to grow your own organic food. There is no act more gratifying, more basic, more liberating, than to coax food from the Earth. From the satisfaction of just doing it, to saving money, to providing the most nutritional food for you and your family, the reasons are plentiful. In this session you'll learn about container gardening in small spaces, growing in gardens, year round growing in greenhouses, and harvesting wild foods.

Located off Penn Shop road in west Mt. Airy - 1851 Florence Road. From 27 South toward Damascus, turn left on Penn Shop Road. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto Long Corner Rd. Then turn right onto Florence road and follow the addresses. Enter the address in MapQuest or Google Maps to get there from anywhere else.
